Written by On July 23rd, Dr. Young-Dall Lee, Principal of NYET participated as a presenter and a panel at the 8th Venture ONE Forum organized by Korea Business Venture Association, Venture Startup Community and Korea Development Bank.
8th Venture ONE Forum, as part of the NextRise 2019 Seoul, took place at the COEX Grand Ballroom. The NextRise 2019 Seoul is a global startup conference/exhibition-designed to connect top-notch players in the global startup ecosystem. More than 5,000 participants attended, networking with Global MNCs, VCs, Accelerators, and startups from all around the world. Multiple sessions of seminars and lectures also provided a great opportunity to gain insights into the global startup ecosystem.
Venture ONE Forum has created the community for businesses to grow, establish networks, and share the experience. It has also been held to provide opportunities for mutual understanding and cooperation between venture businesses and startups.
The topic of the 8th Venture ONE Forum was ‘Scale-UP and successful strategy of Startups’, and Dr. Lee presented about the ‘Hyper-Growing Venture-Startups and the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem on a Global Perspective’, while Taehoon Park, CEO of Watcha gave a speech about ‘Watcha and Watcha Play’.
As the first speaker, Dr. Lee gave a speech about the venture-startups and entrepreneurial ecosystems for the audience, who are preparing/ running the startups or trying to scale-up the companies. His speech also helped them to design the road-map based on the data he collected.
